To apply for a TA/RA, complete the form above and either e-mail it to
stat@uidaho.edu or mail it to the above address.
Paper application materials are available upon
request. Deadline for receipt of Assistantship applications is March 1 for TA Awards beginning in Fall. TA applications will
be considered only if accompanied by a completed application packet for admission to graduate study in Statistics. Please
allow time for your graduate application file to reach Graduate Admissions and
be forwarded to the department.
To become a graduate student, you must be admitted to the College of Graduate
Studies and also to the Statistics Department. Please visit the
Graduate
Admissions website to find out more about gaining admission to the College of
Graduate Studies. Here’s what you’ll need:
1. Application for Admission
2. Official TOEFL score (international applicants only) of at least 525 (70 IBT)
3. Official transcripts for all undergraduate and graduate work
4. Application fee ($55 for domestic applicants, $60 for international
applicants)
5. Three letters of recommendation from individuals who know enough about your
academic abilities to evaluate your potential for graduate studies
6. One to two page Resume or Curriculum Vitae
7. One to two page Statement of Career Objectives

Once Graduate Admissions ensures that your application file is complete, it
is sent to the Statistics Department where our admissions committee evaluates
your file.
