Re: Revised Grading method for whole course
Thank you to those of you who have provided email questions and input
following
our Exam-3 of last Tuesday night.
No, there are no provisions for "Extra Credit."
Instead, I have changed my mind about my grading scheme for the whole
course.
I will grade the course using your BEST THREE EXAMS out of the four
given.
This means there will be 300 points maximum for the best three exams.
I will be grading Exam-3 and posting the grades to WebCT on Friday
(tomorrow)
or next Monday.
I strongly prefer to not give make-ups for Exam-3 and 4. A make-up
would have
to be specially created, just for you. If you like essays with
diagrams to
sketch and label, then maybe it is for you. Otherwise, not doing a
makeup can
be your exam which is not counted in the grading for the course, the one
of
the four that is dropped from the course grading.
Another item: Please check your Final Exam schedule to see if you
have a specific
conflict with our Exam-4, which is at SEVEN PEE EM on MONDAY, MAY 13. |
