Prerequisites: A full calculus sequence equivalent to Math 170, Math 175 and Math 275 at the University of Idaho. Information about all University of Idaho mathematics courses can be found in the University Catalog.

Textbook: Complex Analysis for Mathematics and Engineering, fourth edition By J.H. Mathews and R.W. Howell; published by Jones and Bartlett.

Course content: (1) Complex numbers (chapter 1)
(2) Complex elementary functions (chapters 2,5)
(3) Derivatives: analytic and harmonic functions  (chapter 3)
