| B. Data - Entering and Saving |
| 1. Most important! Always click the save button before exiting a form. If you exit the form or open a new form without saving than you loose all new data. |
| 2. Do I have to enter all my information in at once? |
| No. Until December 10, 2006, you may log in and out of you report as often as you wish and enter or delete information as needed. Remember to hit save each time you change information, otherwise your data will be lost. |
| 3. Trouble Saving? |
| If you are having trouble saving your information: First make sure you are clicking the save button, if this does not work try removing all apostrophizes ( ' ) from your document. This should allow you to save. If you are still unable to save, contact Sammantha Green, Program Evaluator at sgreen@uidaho.edu. |

1. How do I save my publications? |
|
a. on the Index page, click on Publications b. Enter Data in the following manner: 1) Choose the type of publication (Book, Abstract, or Journal) 2) Choose the publication status (Submitted, In Press, or Published) 3) Type or paste in compete reference or citation of publication in APA format. 4) Choose how the publication relates to BRIN/INBRE 5) Indicate if BRIN/INBRE was cited in the Publication (yes or no) 6) Click Save c. After clicking save the publication will roll up into the box above the entry form. d. To enter another just begin typing. |

2. Why do I have to send a copy of my publication? |
|
We are required to send copies of all publications with our annual progress report to NIH. |

3. Where do I send copies of my Publication? |
|

(a) Total Research Space - Square footage
of the total research space at your institution during the reporting period. (b) Newly constructed or renovated Research Space - Square footage of the research space constructed or renovated at your institution during the reporting period. (As defined in APR supplement to the PHS 2590 Institutional Development Award Instructions pg. 18, February 2004) |
