Scholarship Opportunities

Thanks to the generosity of many donors, The College of Science is able to award scholarships and tuition waivers each year totaling approximately $500,000.  In general, there are no application forms for these scholarships - students will be considered for all scholarships for which they meet eligibility requirements.  The relevant departmental and/or college scholarship committee will determine award winners.  The number and amount of awards made each year is at the discretion of the college and may vary from year to year.  To be considered for scholarships requiring financial need, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form each year.  The deadline for priority consideration for scholarships is February 15.  Incoming students should have both the FAFSA form and their application for admission to the university declaring a major in the College of Science submitted prior to this date.  Continuing students should submit their FAFSA form for the year prior to February 15.

For more information on financial aid and general university scholarships, visit the Student Financial Aid Services web site.  Incoming students seeking information on admission to the university should visit the Admissions Office and New Student Services sites.  For more information about particular College of Science scholarships, contact the relevant department.
