4.3 Solubility of Oxides and Hydroxides

OVERVIEW

The goal is for you to learn how to calculate the solubility of oxide and hydroxide minerals, including hydrolysis reactions, and to be able to depict this solubility graphically.

KEY CONCEPTS

  1. How to calculate the solubility of oxide/hydroxide minerals including hydrolysis reactions
  2. How to construct and interpret graphical representations of the solubility of oxide/hydroxide minerals
