The Technology 

The Gateway to Mathematics Project employs state-of-the-art web-based instructional materials and educational technologies.  Course instructional materials and technologies form the basis for a rich mathematical dialogue between instructor and students.  Click here for a video orientation to Gateway technologies.

This course will begin during the week of September 2.  The group on-line meeting time is TBA and will be based on student availability.

The course numbers are:   

Geometry & Measurement  for Teachers ( 3cr) :  

Math 504 (Course # 32094) or   Math 505 (Course # 32095),
To sign up for Math 504, Graduate Credit - go to http://www.registrar.uidaho.edu/ and follow the directions for registering for a course.

To sign up for Math 505, Professional Development Credit - go to http://www.registrar.uidaho.edu/forms/NDApp.pdf  to get the form to fill in to register for the course.

K-12 teachers are urged to check with the Idaho Department of Education and local school officials concerning the use of Math 505 Professional Development credits for recertification and endorsement purposes or for advancement on local salary schedules.

Students will need access to a computer with internet access and

• Pen Tablet -the Wacom Bamboo (about $55 from Amazon) is a good one
