1. The following link will take you to the Trigonometry course, Math 144, video lectures. Lessons 5, 6, 7, 9, 14, and 15 will be important material for you to know. http://www.sci.uidaho.edu/polya/math144/video_instruction/video_instruction.htm 2. The "Interactive Video SkillBuilder" CD included with your textbook contains video lectures for some of the topics, along with a link which takes you to the corresponding quiz on the textbook website (see #4 below). Please, do NOT email me your results. 3. The "Tools for Enriching Calculus (TEC)" CD included with your textbook contains discovery computer modules for some of the topics. It also contains hints for some of the exercises. The hints are in the form of guided questions and will be very valuable in teaching you how to "think" problem solving. I suggest you use these hints as a first resource when you need help. Exercises marked with a red number in the textbook are the ones with hints provided. There is also an index on this CD that will enable you to search for a topic in order to find the appropriate chapter and section numbers. 4. The textbook companion website is located at http://www.stewartcalculus.com/ Click on the first textbook on the left and then follow the link to "student resources". Some of the items you may find useful this semester are listed below.
