Spring Semester: 2008
Chemistry 101 is taught by Professor Rick Fletcher this Spring. Dr. Fletcher's office is in room 004 of Renfrew Hall and that is where you will usually find me. I also have a research lab in Renfrew 040 and I spend a lot of time there. You may contact Dr. Fletcher by e-mail at fletcher@uidaho.edu and by phone at 885-6021. Email often gets a fast reply. Office hours for Fall Semester 2008: 1:15 PM - 3:00 PM on Monday and 2:00 - 3:30 PM on Tuesday and by appointment at other times. I'm also frequently in the Commons Coffeehouse and you are free to catch me there or arrange a meeting. I'll try and be available for your questions as much as possible. Helping you is my first priority so call or email if another time works better for you or just stop by. Feel free to approach me anytime, anywhere. Keep in mind that as part of my contract with the state I also run a research laboratory and much of my time is obligated there. I teach another lab course and graduate students too. Go ahead and catch me any time you can anywhere on campus, but understand there will be times when I might have to reschedule. I'll tell you when it's a bad time for me and I will reschedule another appointment. FEEL FREE TO ASK QUESTIONS AND GET THE HELP YOU NEED. I AM HAPPY TO HELP IF I CAN. I suggest you try me for help before hiring a tutor. In order to view/print many of the items below (like the syllabus) you MUST have the Adobe Acrobat reader installed on the computer you are using. The computer labs on campus are supposed to support this format and it should all work automatically! In order to find out if it works, just click on the syllabus and you should be able to read it. If it does not work on a campus computer lab system, you can contact computer services (885-HELP).
