The University of Idaho's Department of Biological Sciences offers B.A., B.S.,
M.S., and Ph.D. degrees
in Biology. A non-thesis
Master's of Natural Sciences (M.N.S.) in Biological Sciences is also available for students who plan to teach in
secondary schools or junior colleges. Research in the department is organized into
three focus areas: fish reproductive biology;
evolution and
ecology; and neurobiology and aging.
The Department of Biological Sciences, part of
the University of Idaho's
College
of Science, is housed
in Richard D. Gibb Hall and Life Sciences South.
