Aerobic Respiration
The stepwise process by which organisms oxidize glucose to produce ATP and reduced cofactors; includes glycolysis, pyruvate oxidation, the Krebs cycle, and oxidative phosporylation. Oxygen is the final electron acceptor in this process.
