Testing
All tests must be taken in the Polya Mathematics Center.  When you are ready to take a test, stop by the Polya Mathematics Center and locate a Polya Staff member.  You will be asked to show your Vandal Card.  You will be given 70 minutes to take your test.  NO CALCULATORS will be allowed.  You may take each test 3 times.  The best of the 3 scores will be counted toward your grade.  You may only take one test in a given day.

Tests are delivered in BlackBoard.  Every UI student receives a BlackBoard account upon enrollment, and your username and password are provided by ITS.  Be sure to maintain your account and change your password according to ITS rules.

Please take the "BlackBoard Workability Test" at least once so you can become familiar with the software and how the exams look.  The Workability Test has no password and may be taken an unlimited number of times.  It is a good idea to get a few questions right and a few wrong so that you can see how the information is reported to you.

The real tests may only be accessed in the Polya Center.  Take your ID and pencils to the testing area, where a proctor will seat you and help you get started.  All paper will be provided to you and all of your completed work will be kept on file.  If you wish to review a test, you may see me during office hours.

Tests are to be completed independently, without books, notes, or other supportive materials.  All of your work will be collected and kept on file.  NO CALCULATORS will be allowed.

We adhere to the University of Idaho Student Code of Conduct.  The full text may be found at http://www.students.uidaho.edu/documents/UISCOC.pdf&pid=56182&doc=1.
