miles of streams, and 232 hot springs!
About
30% of the fresh water on earth is ground water. Rivers and lakes account
for less than 1%.
The
rest is tied up in icecaps and glaciers mainly in Greenland
and Antarctica.

The University of Idaho –
Hydrology Program is a well established program
of hydrologic science with a rich history in applied research
and graduate education.
Since
founded in 1966, by the late Roy E. Williams, the Hydrology
Program has awarded more than 155 M.S. Hydrology* degrees. |
